St. Michael’s Church (Penampang)
Description
Initiated in 1936 and completed in 1947 by Mill Hill missionaries, St. Michael's Church in Penampang is the oldest stone church in Sabah. Built entirely from hand-hewn river boulders, it stands proudly as the cultural and spiritual citadel of the Kadazan Catholic community.
