,The Church of Christ The Light, located in Desa Jaya, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, has a rich history that reflects its growth and significance within the local Catholic community. Originally established as a humble chapel in 1987, it began with a modest congregation of 12 families. Over the years, the community expanded, leading to the chapel's elevation to church status. On February 3, 2024, a significant milestone was achieved when the chapel was officially declared a parish by Archbishop Julian Leow. This elevation not only recognized the church's growth but also its importance in serving the spiritual needs of its parishioners. The church continues to thrive under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Peter Anthoney, focusing on its mission to serve Christ and radiate His light to the community.
